Amanda and “Fhrontier” aka Theo

Amanda Enwright is proud to offer 15+ years of experience in Hunters, Jumpers, and Equitation. Her services include teaching riding lessons, training horses, starting youngsters, and coaching multiple IHSA/IEA Teams. Amanda can also be found most weekends showing a variety of horses, as well as standing by the gate coaching her students in the show ring. Some of the shows that she attends are: The Devon Horse Show, HITS Saugerties, HITS Culpeper, Swan Lake, and a variety of other shows on the rated circuit. Her students show in a wide array of schooling shows all the way to rated venues as well. Although some of her students compete in horse shows, her goal is not to make everyone into “show riders”, but instead “safe riders.” Safety is always of #1 importance.

Amanda uses a variety of methods with her students when teaching a riding lesson. She understands that some students are more visual learners than audible learners. She adapts each lesson to the learning abilities of her students. Amanda will often get on a horse and demonstrate what she is trying to teach, to help her students understand and see what is being asked of them. Besides training horses and riders, Amanda also has a Baccalaureate degree in Special Education and Elementary Education from Kutztown University. Amanda currently is the equestrian coach for the Bucks County Community College, Gwynedd Mercy University, and LaSalle University IHSA Teams. She also coaches the Black Horse Stables IEA (Middle and High School Teams). When not teaching lessons, Amanda runs a monthly schooling show and is the Show Manager for Black Horse Stables-Worcester’s Hunter/Jumpers Show Series.

Amanda resides on her own personal horse farm in Furlong, PA with her son Dave, 8 horses, 2 cats, and her lovable pup, Stringbean.  She  runs her main business out of Black Horse Stables – Worcester (Formally Worcester Stables at Our Farm) and Black Horse Stables-Furlong, PA (Bucks County). Both locations offer year-round lessons with all ages (beginner thru advanced), Full-Care Board, Training Board, and Sales Board. She also helps find and sell many different horses/ponies for a variety of clients, and usually sells about 20-30 horses a year. Please contact Amanda if you are looking for a horse to buy or need a horse sold. If you have any questions she can be reached via cell at 267-304-5228 or by email at AmandaEnwright@yahoo.com.
